Job Description
• Supervising the installation and commissioning of large projects
• Compiling electrical and mechanical drawings, work packs, operation and maintenance manuals, cable schedules and commissioning procedures
• Compiling Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures and perform tests with client representatives under supervision
• Ability to provide regular communication when offshore with the office and provide daily field progress reports
• Assisting the performance team by performing other duties as required
• Ability to comply with the company’s HSQ management system
• Keeping up to date with ongoing developments in the instrumentation field
• Attend and participate in project meetings to maintain good communications and aid business and organisational development
• Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills as required.
Desired Qualities/Qualifications
• Minimum HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven, extensive offshore experience in the installation and commissioning of electrical instrumentation systems.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload effectively.
• Excellent problem solving and electrical fault finding skills
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
• Driving license preferred but not essential
