Separation Technician


Job Description

Job Role:

Onshore and ad-hoc Offshore servicing & operation of rental & client mechanical separation assets (Mainly Disc Stack Separator’s & Decanters)

To assist with tasks in the day to day running of the workshop.

Key Activities and Tasks:

  • Servicing of offshore Mechanical Separation Equipment (Disc Stack Separators, Decanters, pumping units)
  • Installation & Operation of rental assets offshore
  • Survey for equipment installations
  • Complete offshore paperwork as required
  • Equipment Inventories pre and post job
  • Maintaining company rental assets on & offshore
  • Assist where required with maintenance and offshore duties relating to heat transfer division
  • Handle mobilisations and demobilisations of equipment
  • Handle receipt of supplier deliveries
  • Safety Awareness – All company's Equipment & Workshop activities
  • Communication with all staff members
  • General warehouse tasks
  • Attend all training courses provided
  • Deliveries/Collections where required
  • Assist with stock checks
  • Any other duties Line Manager deems necessary

Training & Competence:

  • To attend any required training in order to be deemed competent
  • Complete company set competency record

Health & Safety:

  • Adhere to all QHSE policies and procedures
  • Contribute to company's Safety Card System


Desired Qualities / Qualifications

Qualifications/Educations:

4 x Standard Grades – preferably in English & Math's

Marine/Mechanical Engineering qualification preferable

Skills:

Computer Skills, Hard Working, Team Building Skills, Ability to Problem Solve, Ability to work in a team and initiative to work by themselves

Knowledge:

Mechanically minded.

Knowledge of Centrifuges (disc stack separators, Decanters)
