Talent Acquisition Recruiter

Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Talent Acquisition Recruiter, this is a 6 month contract role.

Full time 37.5hrs per week - office based.

You will contribute pro-actively to a highly efficient 360 recruitment process with a focus on continuous improvement, from initial engagement to verbal offer. As Talent Acquisition Recruiter you will build candidate pipelines, decide and implement the best attraction initiatives which support HR and hiring managers through the end to end process. Key to this role will be your ability to partner with hiring managers, HR Business Partners on Talent Acquisition: intake reviews, identify qualified candidates, seek feedback, and make hiring recommendations as well as network with passive and active candidates to cast a wide net among qualified individuals. As Talent Acquisition Recruiter you will work to ensure an excellent candidate experience, and guide managers to ensure they follow process and best practice at all times.


• Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximise effectiveness of recruiting process understanding the needs of the manager and the requirements and expectations of the job
• Act as a consultant to business leaders; training, coaching and educating hiring managers on TA process
• Recommend sourcing strategies for individual and collective hiring needs
• Manage, prepare and coordinate the placement of recruitment advertising ensuring alignment with recruitment plan and sourcing strategy
• Facilitate candidate workflow including: applicant review, interview coordination; candidate pre-screens, extend and negotiate offers
• Communicate search priorities to Senior Resourcer based on 7-day review and closing dates
• Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges in line with Corporate branding
• Act as main point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
• Ensure effective use of recruitment tools, and adhere to processes and systems that feed into the regional TA function
• Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes

Desired Qualities / Qualifications


• HND Business or Technical subject (essential)
• BSc Engineering/Science/Business subject (desirable)


• Working knowledge of internal recruitment processes and with high volume recruitment (essential)
• Working knowledge of searching and engaging with passive candidates (desirable)
• Ability to create and track individual and metrics (essential)
• Working knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry including disciplines and their duties and responsibilities (desirable)

• Working knowledge of Oracle Recruitment (essential)
• Good command of German language both business spoken and written (desirable)
• Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook) (essential)
• LinkedIn Recruiter Seat (desirable)
