Technical Sales Executive


Job Description

The Due to increased assignments both in the UK and abroad our client is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Executive.

The description of the role of Technical Sales Executive comprises of but not limited to: -

- Communicate efficiently and clearly with client and/or line manager

- Proven technical sales background, with several years experience in asset integrity, corrosion control and fabric maintenance

- Visits to clients and assets, both onshore and offshore

- UK client base but available for overseas business

- Can demonstrate success in building a strong sales pipeline and establishing a robust customer base

- Capable of researching targeted sectors with a view to delivering product and service value proposition

- Ability to read and understand drawings, procedures and documents

- Dedication to safe working practices

- Willingness and ability to learn new tasks and techniques

- Able to follow client and site related HSEQ requirements

- Able to provide basic training on our procedures to 3rd party personnel

- Undertake preservation surveys and report back to line manager on findings and requirements thereof

Desired Qualities / Qualifications

- Full working knowledge of MS Office, including MS Project, Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint

- Experience in preparing proposals, quotations and technical documents

- Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients

- Business development activities in identified sectors

- Manage budgets effectively within specific constraints

- Familiar with QMS and ISO 9001 standards and processes in relation to role

- Previous knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics
