Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Job Description

Team Recruitment is looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Industrial & Construction team.

Working with our current recruitment consultants, you will learn all aspects of the recruitment process, supporting all roles within the department.

The main focus of the role is to provide day to day administration and recruitment support to the industrial & construction recruitment team.

Duties will include:

Deal with candidate and client queries via telephone and email
Enter new candidate information into the system
Ensure current client and candidate records are maintained
Discuss, create, and forward all assignment details to candidates
Assist in filling live vacancies
Perform certification and reference checking
Ensure all department timesheets are collated and accurately entered into the system
Assist with all department admin to ensure accuracy

Desired Qualities / Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive with good time management skills with the ability to prioritise
Confident dealing with people on the phone and face to face
A sales background or previous experience within an industrial or construction setting
Driving licence
