Job Description

To work on own initiative as part of the Maintenance department and work closely with workshop supervisor and foreman, to ensure that each job/project is completed to a satisfactory standard and within set deadlines and that all paperwork is completed and signed off. To proactively participate in Augean in house safety systems to a high standard.

• Proactively support and embed a generative safety culture
• Ensuring that all employees and non-employees visiting understand and abide by site rules.
• Ensuring housekeeping is kept to the best possible reasonably practicable level
• Ensuring all offshore load outs / spares requests meet load out deadlines.
• To assist workshop supervisor & foreman in the refurbishment and repair company owned and 3rd party equipment as per Quality Assurance procedures.
• To carry out forklift operations within the workshop and yard safely.
• To carry out cleaning and painting of equipment.
• To assist Warehouse supervisor with allocation of PPE and consumables for projects, packing of containers for mobilisation, crane operations etc.
• To carry out local deliveries and collections in van
• To carry out daily checks on forklifts, vehicles, plant and equipment and record checks.
• To carry out specific departmental tasks as and when required.

Desired Qualities / Qualifications

• English at Standard Grade (or equivalent) / Mathematics at Standard Grade (or equivalent)
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Full and current driving license
• Forklift Licence - Preferred
• Water Jetting - Preferred
